Case studies
Systems documented with context, intent, and evidence.
Each project below shows why choices were made—structure, hierarchy, typography, tone—and includes spreads or posters to demonstrate the outcome.
Case study 01
KMUN 25th Session Annual Conference
Context
Five-day diplomatic convening at the United Nations Offices in Nairobi, co-hosted with the Ministry of Foreign & Diaspora Affairs. Required materials: partner concept note, sponsor hub, Africa–France youth segment brief, signage.
Design intent
Layout mimics legal memoranda—serif headings, mono annotations, and breathing room for policy statements. Color stays neutral, with amber accents highlighting timelines and committees.

Case study 02
The Informer — Volumes I & II
Context
Monthly KMUN journal documenting Secretariat activity, chapter highlights, delegate reflections, and creative essays.
Design intent
Establish a newspaper-like cadence: serif masthead, wide margins, running heads, and footnote-style references. Imagery is monochrome to keep the reader in editorial mode.
Case study 03
KMUN Programs & Convenings
Context
Year-round programming—mock debates, legal skills labs, cultural events— across 30 university chapters.
Design intent
Poster system uses the same vertical rhythm as publications. Each layout references printed broadsheets rather than social templates, ensuring attendance materials feel substantial.
